Access to DPPN infrastructures

DPPN e.V. aims to provide state-of-the-art infrastructures and phenotyping facilities for a wide range of plant traits from roots, shoots and seeds to the scientific community.
Additionally, phenotyping of phytopathological processes interfaces to “omics” technologies and methods for field phenotyping will be developed and implemented. With the existing expertise and competence in the field of plant phenotyping, all three partners contribute to the development and implementation of a user-oriented portfolio of existing and new technologies for plant phenotyping.

DPPN facilities address user groups interested in following research and development areas:

• High troughput phenotyping
• Field phenotyping
• Phenotyping portfolios
• Phenotyping of plant-pathogen interactions
• Bioinformatics

In order to provide access to these facilities to external user groups in a cost-effective manner, DPPN e.V. is seeking to obtain appropriate project funding.

DPPN e.V. has now successfully acquired the BMBF-funded pilot project "DPPN-ACCESS" (01.01.2022-31.12.2023) providing national access to users from universities and other publicly funded research institutions in Germany. Access will be granted on basis of a simple application procedure. Calls are announced for this purpose.
