Structure
In order to support and ensure the long-term provision of plant phenotyping facilities beyond the duration of the DPPN project (FKZ: 031A053), the three DPPN project partners (FZJ, IPK, HMGU) founded the DPPN e.V. association in early 2018 (see Mission).
The aim of the DPPN e.V. is to promote science and research as well as training in the field of plant research. The focus is on the financial support of the development and utilization of phenotyping methods, especially by non-profit science, research and educational institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany.
With the three DPPN partners as members, the DPPN e.V. provides the organizational framework for a concerted, long-term and demand-oriented provision of the facilities beyond the DPPN project duration and ensures, in the sense of the association's purposes, that plant phenotyping in Germany is promoted sustainably and intensively through the use of these facilities.
The members of the board represent "ad personam" the three former project partners of the DPPN project and the current members of DPPN e.V.:
